Alyssa Belda

Environmental Advocate

Hi, I'm Aly, a commuter, cyclist, and mobility advocate. With my background in design and environmental causes, I've come to find intersections between these in how our cities are planned and built. Since 2021, I've been involved in our Ilog Pasiglahin (#NoToPAREX) campaign, where we advocate for sustainable, people-centric urban development; revitalizing the Pasig River and its tributaries. We lobby for the activation of the Pasig River as an urban waterway, cultural & heritage resource, and public space.

As a design major, I dream of everyone having a right to the city; where anyone can participate in society through mobility and access to safe, humane, and inclusive mass transportation. I'm a firm believer and doer in reclaiming our public space for people and the environment!
